Flapper Frenzy

I have adored 1920s style ever since I studied the works of the amazingly talented Erte when I was at university. When strolling the streets of Brighton during this time I came across 4 Erte prints in an antique shop and they have hung in every bedroom I have had since. I never tire of looking at them. With the revival of Upstairs Downstairs and the upcoming release of The Great Gatsby the period is very much in fashion. Many of the top dress designers are looking to the era for inspiration for their current collections. We have put together some images to give you inspiration so your wedding can take on the Art Deco style and look simply divine!   Slip on a flapper style dress and adorn your best ladies with a 1920s inspired feather fascinator.  Use a monochrome colour palette with a hint of sage green and simple Calla Lilies to dress your venue. Kick off the day sipping Mint Juleps or Sidecars while listening to a jazz band and take your guests back in time!
